We were in London for 1 day, had LOVELY stay, the hotel was clean with stunning location near by museum. Plus there was a lake, within 15 minutes walk or so.
Wi-Fi was very poor, made me a little nervous.

great location for the Royal Albert Hall, Museums and Parks. In need of a bit of care and the rooms are very small.

The staff were to helpful and attentive. In particular thenight staff and the porter. The hotel is very spacious by London standards and extremely comfortable. The rooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable. It is in an excellent location, close to Gloucester road tube on the Picadilly line.
The lack of air conditioning might make it uncomfortable during hot weather.

Room satisfactory apart from very tight bathroom, but this was reflected in the price we paid. Having stayed here before we know they have better bathrooms.

The helpful staff. We booked for one night. Due to the previous occupant of our allocated room being taken ill our room was unexpectedly in use for an extra night. On our arrival it was explained very nicely that we would be relocated to another Grange hotel in London. I explained that I had specifically booked the Grange Strathmore because it is within walking distance of The Royal Albert Hall where we were due to go to a concert that evening. Within 10 minutes we were told we could stay and furthermore we could have the use of the room straight away, which was 2 hours before the official booking in time. In the morning we were asked how we had enjoyed the concert. Very pleasant stay.
The price of the breakfast! I am sure it would have been very nice but we did not try it as in cafes round the corner we could get a very good breakfast for 1/3rd of the price! A shame because there is nothing as nice as having a bit of a lie-in and then just going downstairs for breakfast.
